[Facts] opinions please
Hello im new to this board. We are having a son in July we think we have settled on a name but would like to have some feed back on it. The name is Tyson Gray he will be called Ty. This is how we came up with it. My madian name is Tyson and my mothers madian name is Gray.Do you think it sounds ok or will he be teased in school? Thanks Cassy

I knew a Tyson , he had dumbo ears and freckles. So, whenever I hear the name, that image comes to mind. I also think of Tyson Chicken. Gray as a middle name could work, but it sounds bleak, to me.

A tangy-rosy choice! The Anagram Oracle is somewhat apprehensive: "angry toys" and "gory nasty" suggests a propensity to violence (never leave the kid alone with the cat), "nasty gyro" (had one last night) suggests a predisposition to junk food and "nasty orgy" (havent had one in aeons) a possible Dionysian attitude to life. But what the heck, Tyson Gray its a cool and patrician-sounding name, go for it :)

I like it! It sounds kind of southern, kind of country; I don't know if that's what you were wanting to hear, but the point is I like it. You chose a name with sentimental value, which your child will hopefully appreciate when he is older. I don't know of anyone with the name Gray, but I know a few guys by the name of Tyson.

The Governor of California is Gray Davis, but the complete hash he's made of the Cal. electric power situation makes him a poor role model. Use the name anyway; it's uncommon.
