Averill is pretty neat. I've heard of
Avril, obviously, but I don't love it. Not sure why, really, maybe just the celebrity association. I've met an Evril, but it always felt like a mispronounced
Avril to me.
Averill is nice. It looks a bit like
Avery, which I like a lot (more on a boy than girl, but either way). And the -ill ending just feeels so soft. I definitely pick
Averill over
Avril. I like the sound of
Everild a lot too, but I just can't wrap my head around it as a feminine name. I know it is, and yet I have this
Everett mind-block that won't let me do it. :)
