I like Rose best but also like Rosalie, Rosemary / Romy and Rosanna.

Rose alone is too sugary, and so are some of its compounds. I like Rosemary and Rosamond the best, and I'd probably like Rosalind were it not for personal experience of a spectacularly odd one.

I love Rose, unfortunately it sounds ridiculous with my partners surname like a hippy weapon so I'll probably never use it. I love the Rose names:
Rosalia
Rosalie
Rosalind
Rosaline
Rosemary
RosinaI don't mind Rosa, but it's not a favourite.

Rosamund and Rosalind are technically not variations, but as far as most English speaking people are concerned, they are, so those two. Also, Roisin, Rosemary, Rosemarie, Rosasharn (gp from Grapes of Wrath).

I find myself only loving Rose more and more. It's at the top of my list and I don't feel the need for it to be short for anything, I'm not drawn to any of the other "Rose" names like I am Rose.
If I had to pick though, Rosa would probably be next, and maybe Rosalie.

Rose
Rosetta
RosemarieRosalind and Rosamund are okay too, not faves. I prefer them pronounced with a long O like the word rose, but it'd be comfy to pronounce them Rahz- too.

I also like Rosalia and Rosario.
