Charlotte is a name that is on my serious consideration list
I don't get the dowdy image that a lot of others seem to have, maybe because I grew up with a lot of Charlotte's.
The only thing that makes me doubt using it is the nickname Charley, although I don't dislike it as much as I used to.
I've liked Charlotte since reading The Little Princess as a child, as one of the chapters was called Lottie, and I love Lottie, it has Victorian charm for me, kind of like Ottilie, Octavia and Matilda.
