[Opinions] Valentine
I have always loved Valentine for a girl, pronounced the English way. Opinions?

It's sweet, but I much prefer Valentina.

I think Valentine is lovely. I prefer it as a girls' name.

I love it on a boy -- my half-brother is named Valentine after our father, Valentino -- but I prefer the "-TEEN" pronunciation for a girl (to differentiate it).

It seems too masculine for a girl. Valentina is better IMO.

I quite like Valentine for both genders, but I prefer it as a middle for girls, and a first for boys. It's probably my least favourite holiday, but I love the meaning, and it has such a pleasant, story book like sound and feel.

I love it, although there's definitely teasing potential. It's a good alt to the overused Valerie. I also love Valentina, although it's too frilly for my style. I like it because of the song by The Hunts.

If I didn't associate it so strongly with Valentine's Day, I'd like it...but I do associate it with Valentine's Day, which makes it seem saccharine to me.
