I gotta be honest, I'd never even heard of primroses until I came to BtN. It's still the only place I ever hear of this flower.
Anyway, not my favorite name but I can understand the appeal. I like Rose, and I like that Primrose reminds me of names I like such as Priscilla, Patience, and Peregrine (though when I put all those names together, they do sound kind of wussy, lol). I guess I can see how some people could take the "prim" as stuck up but that's not how I think of it. I think of like, a neatly trimmed rose garden.
