Astral reminds me of Astrid and Crystal (and I prefer those). I'd say it's usable, but it sounds flaky imo.
I think Petal is cute as a term of endearment...like Honey or Lovie...but don't like it as a real name. I'd prefer Petra, Petula, or maybe Blossom.

1
