I actually asked this question a long time ago, and everyone seemed to hate it. I think it's cute, kind of like Sonny. I can see it making a comeback someday.
Definitely a girl. I don't think it sounds too dated.
Don't particularly like Alessandra, much prefer Alice or Alexandra.
Sandra's not bad, but it does still sound kind of dated to me.
