[Opinions] Interesting old Swedish names
These are from an article written 1985/86 about the oldest people in the Swedish province of Uppland (where I live), so these people are obviously dead since long; they were born in the 1880's-90's. FEMALE

What a beautiful list of names! I love nordic names (I am Norwegian myself). My favourites from your list are: Atelia
Valentina
Tilli (although I would prefer Tilly, but still a sweet name) Augustin
Gideon
Nicolaus (always loved this name)
Natanael (such a beautiful name, I like it better than Nathaniel) I’ve discovered some old, Nordic names myself lately. And some German. I have started researching my heritage lately. And the most interesting names I found are (I am not sure if all the spellings are correct): Margit Konstance (f)
Emil Gunerius (m)
Mikal (m)
Lina Alette (f)
Alette Sophie (f)
Matea (f)
Reinhold Helmut Gustav (m)
Friderika Emilia Rozalia (f) Finding the names is one of my favourite things while looking for my heritage. Maybe I’ll use some very old names for my own children in the future.
