[Opinions] Re: Latin Names
Hi !!!Davina ... I think it was born in the Englisn-speaking world (feminine of Davin). I know that feminine form of David are i.e. Davida or Davidia ...but not Davina. I dislike this name anyway.Dulcina: ehm..not s fan.
In Italian the word for 'sweet' is 'dolce (DAWL-che)'.
I like a similar name, but Spanish, which is Dulcinea (the woman beloved by Don Quijote). Allegra: yes!! This is used here in Italy. I like this name a lot!
It means 'glee, happy'.
It is quite unusual (being also an adjective) but I have a good news, I hope.Infact in 2016 were born here 229 Allegra (the highest ever). I like when great names are chosen by many people but not becoming trendy or too popular...My fsvourite out of these is Allegra of course! It has 9.5/10 in my list.
I would be glad to use it for s futufe daughter! :)
