It makes me think of the movie Annie, but I don't remember that movie enough to know if that actually makes sense or if I'm making it up...if I'm making it up, I guess it vaguely reminds me of the 1920s-1930s and/or New York. I also think of asters and Alastor.
Aster was mentioned here a while ago, and I started out thinking it was weird/ugly, then talked myself into doing a 180 somehow, the more I considered it.
Aster for a girl is kind of neat. Astor for a boy is kind of neat. Either one could be unisex, but I'd divide them that way.
In comparison, I hate Aspen and like Astrid; I'd like Astoria if it didn't primarily make me think of hotels.
