It’s boring but it’s pretty. It’s so popular that I overlook its sound but when I haven’t heard it in awhile, I’m like “Hm, that is nice.”

I find it very boring, and I prefer Laura, especially with the Italian pronunciation.

It's all right but I much prefer Laurel.

Not a patch on Laura.

Extremely common in my generation, but I still think it's pretty. One of the few 80s/90s names that doesn't feel dated, imo.

I like it much better than Laura. In fact, this has always been one of my favorite names. I would consider it for a middle, if I were thinking of having children.

Lauren is a nice name. A lot of parents agreed with this assertion in the 80s and 90s, and that is why I know so many Laurens. So even though I like it, and probably prefer it to Laura (which I also like), it's going to become far more dated than Laura, which will remain a classic.

Sick of it, never saw any great appeal, too close to Laura which I hate due to a bad association, anyone who named your daughter Lauren (and this includes my best high school friend), you could have done better.Adding: I actually prefer the male Loren. Lauren sounds more masculine to me.

I think it's very pretty. I'd use it, maybe; at least for a middle name.

It’s fine. I have no real strong feelings either way.
