[Opinions] Merilee, Merrily, Merrilee
I met a Merilee. It sounds really nice actually, similar to Marilyn or Mary-Lee but then there's the word "merrily". What are your thoughts? Does it work? Which spelling? Please rate my list: https://www.behindthename.com/pnl/6232

I think Marilyn is still better.

I'm sorry, but I don't like most names ending in -lee. I'm bored of them. I'd go with Marilyn, Merlin, Marian or Marry - maybe even Merry...because it looks like happiness and means happiness.

I have a friend named Tansy whose younger sister is named Merilee. It doesn’t sound like Mary-Lee in our accent, but also doesn’t sound exactly like “merrily” as the emphasis is subtly different.I think it’s cutesy, but there’s plenty worse.

Merrily is nmsaa. It looks like - let's face it, it is - an adverb, so every sentence containing it is going to be ungrammatical. And the others sound the same, so even though they look different, I just can't take them seriously either.

Don't really like it

I like it, it feels a bit fresh and choose Merilee. Merrilee looks awkward to me.
