Like, Gatsby? This name reminds me of Cateline or just Cate. I’m not sure what to do with Catesby. It sounds cheap.

Villain's surname.

I don't really get it as a name, but it's better than Gatsby.

Great for a cat.

If I were to make an animated spoof of "The Great Gatsby" starring anthropomorphic cats, I would use the name Catesby or Catsby.

I think it's really cute, it would make a nice name for a cat or a hedgehog, it's got that Beatrix Potter sort of twee charm to it.

I’m not a fan, I’m sorry. I like Catelyn, though.

This sound like somebody named their cat a pun between cat and Gatsby.

Remember, remember the 5th of November,
Gunpowder, treason and plot:
I see no reason
Why gunpowder treason
Ever should be forgot.I might have the words wrong (!), but Robert Catesby was one of the leading conspirators who intended to blow up the Houses of Parliament - which they hoped would result in a Catholic monarch on the English throne. Not the most logical of men.

It’s a speck of a village just outside Daventry in England. I can’t see it as a first name.
