[Opinions] Aaron
My cousin and his fiancée named their son Aaron. While it isn't my favorite name, I think they made a great choice: to me, Aaron is a timeless classic that ages well and works both here in Finland and internationally. It is quite popular here, but not overly so: Aaron has ranked around the 30th to 50th in the Finnish popularity charts in recent years. What do you think of Aaron and how is it perceived where you live?~*~*~*~kuin metsäorvokki laaksossa

I know several Aaron’s. I think of an athletic person who has a quiet charm and is well liked by many without trying.

I used to like it a lot more before I learned of Aaron Hernandez. Not on par with Hitler or anything, just not a good association in my eyes. All of that aside, I think Aaron is a decent name that is in fact likable, but I can definitely see it decreasing in popularity these days with boys. It's cool and all, but I wouldn't be my top pick when it comes to names. If my partner liked it for whatever XYZ reason I would consider.

Mainstream but less common, one in his late teens lives on my street, but he's the only one I know.

I like it. Perceived as a traditional or classic name, not generally associated with religion

Not bad, I like it. It’s quite a Jewish name around where I live; at least, all the Aarons I know are Jewish. But it could work no matter the religion. Overall a good, solid, timeless biblical name.

The one Aaron I know grew up as a Hasidic Jew before leaving the sect and his family disowned him. I like the name.
