Help[Opinions] Pronunciation?
I've vaguely heard of Hugh Jackman, but not of his wife; it seems they are divorcing. OK. But, her name is unexpected. Deborra-Lee. I would expect Deborra to sound like deBORRa, but I've only ever heard DEBorah and DEBra. Does Deborra happen in Australia, or is it a one-off? And since it's a hyphenated name, is the -Lee segment regularly used, or is she just Deborra?
In Afrikaans, Debora is pronounced deBOOer-a, but I wouldn't expihatt in Australia.

I don't know what she goes by. But I'm very sure that her unusually-spelled name is just a creative spelling of Deborah/Debra and is pronounced accordingly.
