[Opinions] Re: Holly or Ivy?
Very different imagery in my mind!Holly feels friendly, warm, and down to earth. It really does feel, well, jolly! I have known a few Hollys, ranging from almost 70 to early 20s. I guess I haven't met any little Hollys in a while, so maybe it is rather dated.Ivy feels fresh again because it's so much older. It's pure icy Edwardian grace. Ivy is artistic, edgy, sharp, clever. Maybe even a little dark and malevolent, but in a fun way. Like a favourite villain. I prefer Ivy, I've loved it since I was a teenager. There's something invigorating about Ivy, I love the sounds and the way that V just slices through things. I think I might love V's actually, they add so much power to a name. R's too. Strong letters.
