Gary started to become popular in the 1930's probably due to the fame of actor Gary Cooper. However, it's heyday was in the fifties when it reached the top ten most popular malenames in the US.

I guess my dad was named Gary after it started falling, but I was named after mine started falling too, haha. There are always going to be people named while it's falling, obviously, or it would just disappear completely, LOL.
Heidi is my mom and I think she's average closeness with her brother. Her brother (who lives in another state) has come to visit a few times, and you certainly don't visit people you're not close with. I should ask her about it in more depth, though. It'd be interesting to know how that affected her.
Fun fact: Stephanie and Zoe are also ten years apart. I happen to know they're VERY close, though!
