It has a friendly sort of sound. If Brandy makes a comeback, Sherry might not be far behind. I think I'm too old to really appreciate it though, because it was a fairly common name when I was growing up, so it's overly familiar to me - very boring.

I don't know if I prefer it, but I am most used to the spelling Shari, because that's how most of the girls I knew spelled it. Sherry looks too wordy to me. Sherri is kinda fun.
