[Opinions] Re: Can you imagine a child being named Disney?
It's just another lnfn really; the associations with the film etc maker would make it unfortunate if there wasn't a genuine family name that could serve as an explanation. I must add that Disney is one of the least influential, or even interesting, things I have experienced in my whole life.

You may not have liked Disney, but there has been generations upon generations of people that have been influence by Disney in some form or at the very least have a very strong profound appreciation for it.
I agree that it has influenced many people very strongly. Again, I love Disney too. But I think naming a child directly after it is not a good idea. It's almost like naming a child Hershey because you love the chocolate. There's a line between loving something very dearly and hero worshipping it.
I think the best thing would be to use a character name like Belle, Ella, Philip, Eric, Ariel, etc.. Is there a specific character that you like?

Stitch from Lilo & Stitch my favorite Disney Movie of all time.
Lilo or Nani is sweet. Actually, Lani is a pretty popular choice and it's a combination of both.
Of course they do - so what? I don't like boiled eggs either, but anyone else is more than welcome to them.
