I like Candace, always have. It's not popular now mainly because it hit its peak in the seventies, and that's really not enough time for a name to fall out of style and then come back.
I dislike Candy very much. It's a very cliched "tacky woman" name, and very dated as such too. A modern stripper probably would think Candy is a very lame stage name. (She'd sooner choose Cadence.)
Before you criticize a man, walk a mile in his shoes. That way, when you criticize him, you're a mile away and you have his shoes!
