I love the name Emily, even though it's popular. I don't like the spelling Emelie though. Lily Amelia and Emily Grace would be lovely. Phoebe I also love, but Aurora is not my style.

Honestly, I think misspelling an extremely common name only makes it a misspelled extremely common name. Do you like the French Emilie? or even Emilia?I think Lily Amelia is very nice.
EDA that even though Emelie is Swedish, if you live anywhere but Sweden this spelling would most likely be problematic. My niece is Kimberley which is the most original spelling, however, everyone from her teachers and coaches to her GRANDMOTHER continually spells it Kimberly. Something to think about ...

I still dislike it even if it is spelled Emelie - I actually think it looks worse. Lily Amelia (which is cute) and Emelie Grace fit together well. Phoebe Aurora is pretty.

I love Emily, even though it's popular. (I don't think popularity alone is a good reason to reject a name; trendiness, yes, popularity, no.) I prefer the English spelling, though I wouldn't mind Emelie on someone with Swedish heritage.I like Lily Amelia very much. I'm not keen on Phoebe Aurora. Both of those names sound slightly childish to me; not so much so that they couldn't be used on their own paired with a more solid name, but enough that I don't like the way the combo works together.Emelie Grace doesn't appeal to me at all, no matter how Emilie/Emily is spelled. Unless Grace is a family name, I wouldn't use it. It's extremely common as a middle name now; it's the new Rose.

Funny you should ask - I was about to post some Emily combos. :P
I adore the name Emily and its varients. I like the spelling Emelie...a lot, actually. Never really thought about it before...you could use the nns Mel, Mellie, Ellie as well as Em.Lily Amelia is simply beautiful, as is Emelie Grace. The thing with Emelie Grace though, is that it is quite a common combo (well, Emily Grace.) But then, that doesn't stop it being a beautiful name. Lily and Emelie sound lovely as sisters. I see Amelia and Emelie as being quite similar, but that might just be the Emelie spelling. Phoebe Aurora is really pretty and I think it goes well with the other two. Phoebe, Lily and Emelie. Nice.Great names. I love them all. :)
