I like the pronounciation, prefer the spelling Maile by far. Miley looks made up. I do prefer Millie/Milly to Maile though.

First, what do you think of this name (pronounciation)?
It's OK. It blends in with trendies such as Riley and Kylie, and to some extent Kayley / Bailey / Hayley. How would you spell it?
Miley. It's a fairly flimsy name as it is, so Mylee, Milee or whatever would not be good. What middle names go well with it?
Miley Katerina came to mind. Like I said, I find it insubstantial, and Katerina is a seriously substantial middle name.

I haven't seen it before. I don't like it. Millie is cute though.

TrittoI love Millie. And a plus IMO is that it's really not popular in the USA; it's quite a bit more popular in England & Scotland, according to the popularity charts.Miley makes me think of Smiley, which for some reason, just irks me. I prefer the Hawaiian spelling, Maile. I think I like the sound of the name better than any of the spellings. :-\Alternatives to Miley:
Mila (like it prn either mie-lah or mee-lah)
Millie
Milana (like it prn Mee-lah-na)
Milena (like it prn Mih-lay-na)ETA links

Good point - Millie/Milly is so much cuter.

I've come to like it actually!I like the spellings Myleigh and Mylee too (I would pronounce it like "MY-lee"). Hmmm:Miley Raine
Miley Isabella
Miley Kamryn
Miley Kait
Miley Katriona
Miley Cecilia
I think good siblings would be sisters Fallon and Tatum... Just some thoughts. ;D

I like it, I think it sounds cute. I say MIE-lee and would spell it Miley. I think Ruby or Eva would go nice with it, and Sam or Kyler would be nice for a brother.

I agree. It's been popping up everywhere all of a sudden. I don't see the appeal at all...

I pronounce it MY-lee and love it spelt Maile, although I don't think you'll get many fans of the name here TBH.

I like Miley. I like this spelling, but it makes me think "smiley" which really isn't a horrible thing.
