[Opinions] Brennan ...
WDYT of Brennan for a boy?Once upon a time my favorite name was Brendan, while I no longer care too much for it, the similar Brennan has been appealing to me more and more lately.Would it seem too trendy right now? Can you think of any other drawbacks to Brennan?Mira & Brennan?

I used to love it, and while I don't dislike it now it just strikes me as a little bit trendy. :-/ Also, I think it would constantly be mistaken for Brendan, Brandon, and even Braden. People would be going through the list of Br--n names before realizing it was Brennan. :b But maybe I'm just being cynical, lol. I like it better than Brendan, and I definitely prefer Brendan to Brandon. It's name a bad name at all and I think it would sound very nice as a brother to Mira.

I love Brennan. I never knew about it, until I met a Brennan in one of my college classes. I have always been a fan of Brandon and Brendan, so I picked up Brennan right away. I really cant see any drawbacks, but maybe thats because I love the name too much?

Brennan isn't my own favorite but I like seeing other people use it. Concerning names with that general look, I like Brennan and Brannon a wee bit more than Brendan and Brandon. The names similar to those that I love, however, are Bran and Bram.

Brennan's not my thing personally, but I think it's really handsome for you. :) I think Mira and Brennan sound wonderful together. As for drawbacks...uh, bran cereal? Similarity to the painfully fug Brandon? There's not much here--Brennan's a good name.Array

I really can't .Brendan is all right, imo, but I like Brennan so much better! Drawbacks? Not a one, in my book. :o)

Brennan reminds me of the German verb Brennen, which means 'to Burn'

I like Brennan and I think it is a lot better than Brendan which I dislike.

It seems like yet another faux-Irish creation to me, so I think it would date since those are so fashionable now. Obviously it's a real surname, but it's a creation as far as first-name usage goes. Like Finnegan.Otherwise, I think it sounds like someone is saying "Brendan" with their mouth full. I definitely prefer Brendan by a mile.

I think its nice. I find its female varient, Brenna, a bit more appealing, personally. Brennen is like Jake and Luke, I like it but it isn't my style. Mira & Brennen sound sweet together.

I think it is a bit trendy and I don't really like the use of surnames as fns unless they have family significance. That being said, it is okay as far as surname as fns go.

While I like Brendan a lot more (because Im so opposed to Brandon) Brennan isnt bad. The only thing that Im not liking about it right at this minute as I stare at it, is all the 'n's...it just seems too drawn out for me, maybe like it doesnt have a real ending. I dont think its too trendy though, Brendan is much trendier.Mira and Brennan sound very good together though.

I've liked both Brennan and Brenna for a while now. I would use either one, but they've been vetoed. I don't think that Brennan is too trendy. The only drawback that I can think of is that people might confuse Brennan with Brendan.BTW Mira and Brennan is a great sibset.
