I like it for Persephone (although I'd rather use Persie for that), and sort of, for Josephine.
It reminds me of two things: Sophie, and the Kia car model Sephia. But those don't detract really.
Mostly it's just nms because it's short sounding.. the two short Es; something about the sound just isn't my thing. It's nice though. Especially if it's after someone in the family.
