I think it's beautiful. My dad's family is Serbo-Croatian and there is a Croatian song called Emina (about a woman named Emina). My dad mentioned that it wasn't particularly a Serbo-Croatian name, but I love it anyways mostly because of the song.

Hi! Don't like it, sorry. Emina makes me think of an enema as well as Eminem! How about Amina? I have a friend named Amina, it's pronounced AMM-in-uh. Her mom's name is Amina, too, but her mom pronounces it uh-MEE-nuh. They're from Jordan and both pronunciations are right... In Arabic, they're spelled differently, but translated into English, it's the same spelling even though they're pronounced differently. My friend also has a brother named Amin! Anyway, I really like Amina.

Thats amusing, I just suggested Amina to her as well. The women you know are from Jordan, the girl I know is named Amina Jordan : )

Reminds me of the word "enemy."
Would you pronouce it "eh-MINE-uh" or "eh-MEAN-uh"?

How about Amina ...My ex-boyfriend's neice was named Amina. I personally like Amina, but Emina doesn't sound as nice to me. Although not a bad name.
