I don't mind the name Reid actually, but definitely only for a boy. I like the name Ryley, but that spelling is just silly to me. It's adding an unecessary y just to try and make the name look more feminine. Riley looks the best for sure and there is nothing wrong with this name for a girl, so use the "normal" spelling.

Don't like Reid and I prefer Reilly for a boy.

Reid's ok.
I don't like the spelling Ryley, and it's really a boy's name.

Both are yucky, imo.Reid is fine, on a boy. Ryley is horrible either way. Riley is nice enough when used on a male, though trendy.

I like Riley, but only for a boy. Reid is very nice. I've actually been thinking about b/g Reid combos lately (weirdly enough) and a few I like are:
Reid & Reese
Reid & Rachel
Reid & Reagan

Reid is fine (I'll admit to liking it for either sex, but I used to call one of my best girl friends Reid), but Ryley strikes me as horrific. I speak as someone rabidly against any form of Riley on a girl, mind.Array
