Seth
Since when did this become the big goth name? I swear on the sims site and various writing sites, yuo type in vampire or goth and this is one of the most common names. Why?

I don't think the name Seth sounds goth at all. Although I don't like it.Thanks

I always thought Seth sounded a bit sinister - along with Jasper. But I *love* Seth nonetheless. I even like Raven, so I suppose I'm not opposed to goth names!

Really? I've never had that assocation. Just today, actually, I was thinking how it's kind of an average Joe name. It reminds me of a college kid who likes to have fun - not goth at all!

I would say it is because of the Egyptian godSeth was the Egyptian God of chaos and the desert (which is associated with death). He murdered his brother, Osiris, who was the king of the Gods.Lots of symbolism with the God Seth could be easily adopted by goths.

I love the name Seth and I always think of a kind, gentle and charismatic boy when I hear it. That's so weird to me that it's a "goth" name!

I don't really like that name, it sounds a little depressing!

Probably because of the Egyptian god of chaos Seth. I never liked the name actually.
