I love it, so does DH, but it doesn't flow with our surname.

I love love love Oscar. It's one of my favourite boys names, and is a strong contender for a 2nd son if I ever have one, along with about 6 other names. (First will be August Malachi)My favourite combo is Oscar Leonidas, but others are Oscar Theodore, Oscar Veritas, Oscar Nathaniel.

I love it. I'm not sure about using it in the U.S. (though it's probably not as considered to be as unusual now as it would've been 20 years ago), with the "Oscar the Grouch" association, etc. It is cute to me, though. Actually it seems more suited to a little boy or an older man than a teen-to-adult to me. :b

Nice name, though it reminds me of Oscar the grouch from Sesame Street.

Its okay. I probably don't like it because of Sesame Street's Oscar the Grouch and because of those big ugly fish.

I've always wanted to like it, because it kind of seems like my style, but I don't, really. :( Sorry.

I love it. One of my top names at the moment and I think it goes well with a variety of mns.

I used to like it but my friend got two cats - Oscar and Jasper. Now I can't take Oscar seriously which is a shame!
Also, Oscar the Grouch from "Sesame Street" and Oscar Wilde.
