May
May is quickly becoming one of my favorite names. It's simple and sweet along with a few of my other favorites for a girl (Clare, Jane, and Rose, for instance). What do you think of the name May? What do you think of using May as a pet form for Maya / Maia?

I like Mae as a mn, but I'm not a big May fan, esp. for a fn. May is cute as a nn for Maya, but Maia, nn Mai would be even cuter.

May used to be used as a pet form of Mary.May is nice on its own. I pronounce Maya/Maia as MY-a, so May doesn't work as a nickname for me.

I love it :)The only problem is that with all the mns and lns I can think of, it sounds like a phrase : / Using it as a pet form of Maya / Maia is good, especially because that must mean you're pronouncing them MAY-a, which is my favourite way.

May is gorgeous, short and sweet. I prefer it to Maya and Maia, but I could see it used as nn for any of them.

I like this name too, but much prefer the spelling Mae. I don't really like it as a nn for Maya/Maia, sorry.

May is gorgeous. I prefer it to Maya, actually. And I prn. Maya and Maia as MY-ah, so using May (with a long A sound) as a nn seems kind of 'off' to me, but not unthinkable.

I like it, Mae is my middle name. I like May as a pet form of Maya too but as one for Maia it might be confusing.

I love May as it is part of my mn. I prefer Mae for probably obvious reasons. I think it could work well as a nn for Maya/Maia but I like it on its own too.
