wdyto Tallulah?
It's Irish and it means princess. My mom's name came from a combo of her Grandma's first name and Mother's middle name. Tallulah is almost like a mixture of my mom's middle name and my first name. Plus, my name is Irish and so it my partners. But....... It this name 'silly' sounding?

Talulla is the Irish form, so I'd use that spelling and for a mn. Tallulah is Native American and means leaping waters.

I really like Talulla (Irish spelling). It's unusual but I don't think it's any weirder than what I see everyday. The nick Lulu is cute too.

I think it's sweet, but a bit too over-the-top for me to use, personally. However, I'd love to see it on someone else's child. I'd definitely use it for a pet, nn Lulu. :)

My grandfather has always wanted a granddaughter named Talulla, he's is Irish. To be honest I'm really glad that I didn't get named Talulla. I have nothing against the name but it just really isn't me.

Isn't the Irish name Talulla?

Actually Talulla is Irish for princess, while Tallulah is a different name meaning “leaping waters”.
It’s a nice name and all, but I always think of Tallulah Bankhead, and it does sound a bit silly but if you are worried about it it can always go in the mn spot, especially since it honours. Just out of interest, what is your name and your mums name?

Thanks for the info. Is Talulla pronounced the same as Tallulah? My name is Kayla, which is hardly Irish, but comes from an Irish surname, supposedly. My Mom's name is Janna.... a combo if Jane and Anna. Her middle name is Lou and was called Lulu belle as a kid. So the Lu-lah sound combines our names.

Cool. I wouldn't say it combines your names, but yeah I can see where your coming from with the sounds.I think Talulla and Tallulah are said the same, but I'm not 100% sure on that. Good luck finding a name you love :)
