Milan for a boy?
Milan, pronounced like the Italian city. I can't say why but I have come to adore this name. My question is, is it really suitable for a boy? It is likely that he would have dark hair and blue eyes. His would-be father is something like 1/12 hispanic but otherwise his would-be parents are not European. The other problem for me with this name is his surname would be Barros. There is a football player with the name Milan Baros. WOuld it be difficult?Milan Grayson Barros
Milan Richard BarrosAny ideas or opinions?

I like the name, but am not keen on the middle names suggested, the dont flow very well. I dont see a problem with the likeness to the name of the football player!

I pronounce it MY-lan. I love it for a boy. Milan Grayson sounds very handsome.

I don't like it on a boy. It sounds rather femenine.

I know a boy with this name, except he pronounces it MIE-lon not mee-LON. But either way, it could work!

Milan is perfectly acceptable. It's commonly used in Slavic speaking countries.I haven't heard of Milan Baros, but then again, I'm not a football fan. If he isn't that well known, I don't think it would be an issue at all.Personally, I prefer Milan Grayson Barros. Milan Gray would be a nice combo as well.

Milan is a really cute name! I like it much better on a boy than on a girl.
