As in a saber-tooth tiger? no thanks. It would be especially unfortunate for a girl. So, I'd say out of the question for a real-life child.
For a character, it would have to be justified in some way, otherwise I wouldn't be able to concertate on a story because I'd keep wondering why the heck she had beem bestowed such a bizarre name.
