I like Marissa but prefer the original spelling and pronunciation, Marisa (mah-REE-sa). I did know a lady once whose dd was Marissa Joy. I thought that was a lovely combo.

I hate Marissa. I hate all names ending in ISSA. They try too hard. They scream, "Look at me! Aren't I pretty? I'm all flowers and hearts and ribbons and lace!" Marissa is so obvious.

I like it.
I'm not very good with the mn thing. I know a Marissa Renee, that's all I got.

Marissa Joan
Marissa Beth
Marissa Leigh
Marissa Anne
Marissa JosephineWith the exception of Josephine, I think Marissa sounds better with a one-syllable mn.

I really like the name. It sounds nice to many mns as for example Marissa Jane or Marissa Caroline.
Of course it depends on the surname ^^
