1. What names are you thinking of most today?
I just woke up, and my brain isn't yet thinking about anything. I tend to think about the names Evey and Ptolemy a lot, though.
2. Do you think its ok to have themed middle names in a sibset if you like all the names?
I think that middle names are totally fair game, period.
3. Do you think its ok to name a child after a book/movie character if its not REALLY obvious, and you were passionate about the book/movie?
I think it's okay to name a child after a character you love, period.
4. Do you think in about 8 years time it'll be ok to call a boy Shiloh?
I think you could probably get away with it now, though I dislike the name enough to wonder why you'd want to. ;)
5. How do you find most of the names you put on your list, or have you just come across them over the years?
I end up stealing them away from characters I like, more often than not.
6. How long have you had a name list?
I don't keep a formal list, but I've been interested in names at least since I was five, if not earlier.
7. Do you write fiction/film scripts etc?
I write stories, yes.
8. Whats your least favourite name atm?
My least favourite names for boys and girls tend to be Anna and Joshua.
9. Whats the first combo that comes into your head right now? Quick!!!
Rhapsody Silverware. I told you, I just got up.
10. Do you think pets should have pet names (e.g. Fluffy) or people names or do you not really care?
I prefer them to have pet names, personally, but I've used both on animals. I'd really love to have a dog named Fido or Rover, though, because it'd be the only one.
11. Whats the oddest combo (in your opinion) that you've ever liked?
I don't think I have one particular.
12. Do you go through phases with your names, or do you tend to stick with most of them?
I go through phases and I stick with them--my favourites have actually remained pretty steady, but the names around them sometimes shift.
13. If you're planning on having children, how many would you want?
Somewhere between three and six, I think.
14. Is there one name you'd really like to use, but feel like you can't for some reason or other? If so, what name and why.
Ruxandra, for funny (weird, not funny haha) issues. Promise, for the fact that I just don't feel like it's mine to use. I'd rather use Ruxandra than Promise.
15. Do you like nature/word names or think they're a bit too weird and non-namey?
I think everything can be converted into a name if you try hard enough. If I could, I'd consider guitar riffs, man.
