1. What names are you thinking of most today?
♦ I haven't really thought about any unusual ones . . . just my favourites.
2. Do you think its ok to have themed middle names in a sibset if you like all the names?
♦ Yes. Who's going to know, in the long run?
3. Do you think its ok to name a child after a book/movie character if its not REALLY obvious, and you were passionate about the book/movie?
♦ Absolutely, but then I have a sister named Elanor so I'm biased.
4. Do you think in about 8 years time it'll be ok to call a boy Shiloh?
♦ It's fine now.
5. How do you find most of the names you put on your list, or have you just come across them over the years?
♦ I hear them around, process them, decide that I like them.
6. How long have you had a name list?
♦ A looong time.
7. Do you write fiction/film scripts etc?
♦ I write fantasy stories.
8. Whats your least favourite name atm?
♦ Mackenzie, on a girl.
9. Whats the first combo that comes into your head right now? Quick!!!
♦ Sarah (name of my current WIP's main character
10. Do you think pets should have pet names (e.g. Fluffy) or people names or do you not really care?
♦ I don't care. I've named cats Katie, Mia and Jemima, but that's mostly coincidence.
11. Whats the oddest combo (in your opinion) that you've ever liked?
♦ Not sure, too late at night to remember that sort of thing.
12. Do you go through phases with your names, or do you tend to stick with most of them?
♦ Definite phases with the girls' names. Boys' are pretty stable.
13. If you're planning on having children, how many would you want?
♦ Four
14. Is there one name you'd really like to use, but feel like you can't for some reason or other? If so, what name and why.
♦ There's plenty that my boyfriend has vetoed. Tiana springs to mind.
15. Do you like nature/word names or think they're a bit too weird and non-namey?
♦ Depends how extreme they are. Rowan is one of my favourites for boys.
