Dislike itDamian reminds me of "demon." I know Damian does not look or sound like "demon," but I guess I think that because I associate it with Damon, which does look like "demon." I have never liked this name for that reason.

It's o.k. Bit blah.It was one of my top names when I was much younger but it is so popular here that I was put right off it.

I like it and I would use it if people didn't associate it with that crappy overrated horror movie The Omen and the even crappier remake.

I love the name, but spelled Damien.

I wouldn't use it because it's very much associated with Satan's son. Wouldn't be fair to the kid. I'd use Damon - much more practical.

It's one of my favourite boys' names, it's very classy.

I love it. It's not over used and it has a great sound.

I don't like it enough to use it myself, but I don't dislike it. I prefer the spelling Damien.

I love it [m]I'd use it after my pastor. I would use it but I don't know if I like it as a FN or MN just yet.

Do you mean Damian?I love Damian. I prefer the French spelling Damien after Father Damien, the man who cared for the lepers in Hawaii and eventually died of the disease himself. If he doesn't deserve to be honored I don't know who does.Obviously the association with Father Damien is upper most in my mind and why I love the name so much. But the sound is wonderful too. It's also my brother's mn. Damain? It reminds me of the word "domain."

I'm assuming you mean Damian, not Damain.I like Damian, but I think I prefer the spelling Damien, which just looks better to me. I don't think of the kid in the Omen movie. [I did see the 2006 version of the movie though, and I wasn't even moderately frightened by it. Plus, if you read the Rosemary [Rosemary's baby and Son of Rosemary], you find that the son of Satan actually turns out to be very good! lol]I would totally use it. Either spelling, though more likely Damien.
However, if you DID mean Damain, then no, it's really ugly, and makes me thing "Da Main what?" Da Main Street? Da Main Attraction? :D
