Very theme-y. Not necessarily in a bad way, though. Rose is so much more common, but I'd rather see a Rose and Iris combo over a Rose and Lily combo anyday. Both names are lovely and elegant. I'd imagine the bearers to be sweet. I feel this way about most flower names really, just because they're, well... flowery and feminine.

Very lovely and Victorian, but too theme-y for my tastes. Iris is absolutely beautiful. I'd like to see Rose used as a FN more often. The only problem is that I'm not too fond of the NN Rosie. I like Rose without a NN.

A tad on the flowery side (so it probably wouldn't be me... esp. Iris) if just the 2 of them with no other sibs... if they happen to be mixed into a larger fam, then no big deal... unless of course they have sisters with names like Jasmine, Pansy, Daisy and Amaryllis.

I like it. Since Rose is usully used as a middle name, it's nice to see it as a first name. ;-)
