Which of these Gaelic S names? + WDYTO Sorrel?
Would you rather be/name a (kid) Saraid(sor-id), Sadhbh (sive), Searlait (sher-lat), or Searlaid (shawr-lutch)? Also, WDYTO Sorrel?

Saraid. Sorrel is alright. I don't think I would ever use it, though.

Sadhbh - I love it and would use it. I have issues with the spelling though - I don't like the silent "dh" in any name really.Otherwise Searlait - Charlotte is a family name in my husband' family.I like Sorrel too.

If pressed Searlait, but I don't really like the sound of any of them, sorry.
I do like Saoirse, and also Siomha (shee-va) but I think people would confuse it with the Indian goddess. My sister is Shona. She hates her name though, lol. Sorrel is not my style but ok.

I like Sorrel, it's unusual and cute. Wouldn't use any of the Irish names outside Ireland, though. I've never come across any of the others, but I know a Sadhbh, and she has a very hard time explaining the spelling of her name.

To be honest...I think they're all really ugly, but I guess if I had to choose, I'd take Sorrel. At least I'm able to pronounce/spell it.
