Aloisia
I find this name very elegant, at least to look at. The sound is pretty but a little awkward. Still, for right now, I love it. WDYT?My combos are Aloisia Maria and Aloisia Adélaïde.

Agreed, it looks better than it sounds. Aloisia Adélaïde is a mouthful, but elegant.

Yeah, I do a syllable count on all my combos and this one has more than most of my 3-namers, lol.

I like it very much

I agree with your analysis of it. That's basically how I feel about it. I wish it was Aloisa. I'd like it pronounced better that way I think. I like Lo as a nickname.

Aloisa is good, but from there it's just as easy to be Eloisa.

I like it. I wouldn't use it though. And I keep wanting to say al-OY-see-a, like Aloysius. Is Aloysia a real name? Because if it is I's prefer it to Aloisia.
I like your combos, and also Aloisia Mariana, Aloisia Eglantine, Aloisia Parvati, and Aloisia Shae.

Funny, I say Aloysius like ah-lo-WISH-us. And part of me wants to say Aloisia like ahlo-WISH-a, but I would probably go for the Latinate prn most of the time. I'm sure Aloysia's a real name, just a variant transcription, but I prefer Aloisia because I like the two I's and how nothing hangs down.I really like Eglantine and Parvati. Thanks! :)

Its very pretty. I don't find it awkward at all. I am usually not one for alliteration, but I must say that I quite like Aloisia Adélaïde.

Yeah, normally I can't do A. A. either, but I really enjoy this combo. :D Thanks!

I like the name, it doesnt sound awkward to me at all and I appreciate it has many nickname possibilities. Some combos:Aloisia Belle
Aloisia Beatrice
Aloisia Lyric
Aloisia Ruby

Ooh, Aloisia Ruby's really pretty and I normally don't even like Ruby! Thanks!

I just think it sounds awkward. Too many syllables. I think Aloisia Marie would flow better than Aloisia Maria, which rhymes (unless I'm pronouncing it incorrectly).

Oh, I love rhyming combos. :P My #1 is Minerva Maria Cecilia, so that doesn't bother me.

I love it but only pronounced ah-LOI-see-ah, not ah-lo-EE-see-ah like BTN says. Aloisia Maria is very pretty.

I say it like kind of a cross between the two. Like I'm going for the OY sound, but I stop a little bit on the tail end.

That name seems pretty complicated to me. Adélaïde would make it even more complicated (especially to spell). So I'd choose Aloisia MAria, if I had to choose.

It sounds kinda southern to me when i say it aloud. i like Aloisia Adélaïde out of the names you came up with

Hah. That's funny. I'm southern, but it doesn't sound southern to me. Works out, then. :P
