I think it's ugly. It has two associations. One is of a Jewish woman who is a New Yorker who struggles with her weight and low self-esteem, is humorously self-deprecating, is hungry to find a man to marry, and then when she does marry, the marriage doesn't last. That's not really a bad association. The other is bad. It's of an evil little eight-year-old girl who murders people to obtain possessions of theirs that she wants, or to protect herself, and whose evil is genetically inherited and who will never stop until the inevitable day comes when she is imprisoned and probably executed. That's a really bad association.

It's okay, it's apparently the real name of my Cousin Ruth, or so her Facebook says. Probably won't come back into style.& I'm not fond of that combo. It just doesn't flow right, imo.
