I can honestly say that I have never heard that name before! There was also a Prince Lucky Surname and a Satin Ashana What do you think? Would you use any of these?

Cricket the sport and Cricket the insect totally rule it out, I'd say. Prince and Satin are equally cheap. I knew a Lucky once: his mother was about to be beaten up by her husband, a rather regular event, but this time she had to go into hospital instead and have her son ... which was lucky, so he was Lucky. Ashana sounds fake.

I would use Cricket as a nickname, but not as a full name, I think it's sweet, but a little too baby-ish and too open for teasing about insects. Prince Lucky just seems tacky.Satin Ashana makes me laugh because my friend and her boyfriend used to joke about naming all their children after fabric. I would not use it.

I have known one Cricket, which was short for Mary Katherine. I think it's kind of cute as a nickname, but far too silly to be a full given name.I also know a woman named Lucki, which is her given name. Her granddaughter is also named Lucki.

Cricket...I'd only use it if for some reason I became an even bigger Buddy Holly and The Crickets fan.

I've always despised the name Cricket, and I know two--though one just has it as a nickname.I would never use any of those names.

There was a character on a soap opera here in the US named Cricket, and another 'named' Lucky. I don't know if they're on the same show. I think they work better for stories than in real life.

They were also nicknames for characters on those soaps. Cricket was a nickname for Christine and Lucky was a nickname for Luciano.

Wait, which Lucky? Lucky Spencer is Lucas Lorenzo Spencer. I don't know of any other soap Lucky's.

Oops, my bad, you are right. Doesn't someone call his father (Luke) Luciano?

I don't watch soaps, so I don't know if they're given or nicknames. I've just heard from relatives who watch those soaps/ channel surfing/ entertainment news shows talking about the soaps that there are characters called Cricket and Lucky.
