I know a Paulette and while it's nice I prefer Pauline and Paulina. Paolina is my fave...

I've known a few Paulinas, but I've never warmed to the name. I really like Paul for a boy, and I could just about face Paula for a girl, but not Pauline or Paulina; Paulette sounds like a chickeny sauce.

It's just kinda pedestrian and blah to me, but your mileage may vary. I would def choose Paulina over the other 2. On the bright side, I do know a Pauline and she's very beautiful and successful. It's just not a name that when I hear it, I go, oh wow, how beautiful.

I definitely think that Paulina is usable, and I don't find it dated. Pauline is pretty too. I don't recall meeting anyone named Paulina, Pauline, or Paulette.

I actually think it's adorable, though it is not in my round of favorites. I don't know why I hesitate with it. I don't know that it's dated per se, so much as you need a namesake or something to carry it. It's a weird stigma I have for it. Don't let that stop you! I'd love to see it used. Prefer Paulina to Pauline or Paulette, which both strike me as a boring feminine ending stuck to Paul. Paulina actually sounds like it should be its own name, even if it isn't any different. For this reason, I may ever so slightly prefer Polina, though Paulina itself is probably the safer version.

I really think Paulina is usable. Paulina is somewhar exotic and sweet which I like. I think it's very lovely all around! I don't know any Paulina but one of my great-aunts is named Paulette and she's very sweet.

Totally usable and cute. Paula is a little dated and flat, but Paulina is fresh and sparkling again. It would be adorable to meet a baby Paulina. It makes me think of pale pink and yellow stripes, very delicate but proper. My high school gym teacher was named Paulette. And I don't know a Pauline, but I know a Claudine - sorta close! :)

I'd like it, except there is a minor character in West Side Story that's listed as "everybody's girl" I don't like that association, lol.

I used to know a Paulina when I was little (1-5) who had a younger brother named Nils.
I think you can use it even though it isn't a favorite. I prefer it over Pauline and Paulette. And oh, I met a Paulina last Friday in a store :) She was around 18-20 yo.
