Louisa
DH and I are pretty set on Louisa if we have another girl- we already have two kids together (Scarlett and Malcolm) and I have a step-daughter Natasah...all of the kids have middle names that honour family members and I'd love to do the same with this one. Our dilemma is that we both ADORE the combo Louisa Plum but I really want to use my mom's name Maureen as well. So, our options are:
Louisa Maureen- I find this a bit serious
Louisa Anne- same as above- somewhat bland and I don't like the a's running together
Louisa Plum- our favourite but no honouring
Louisa Plum Maureen- like the flow but don't like how the 'm's run together
Louisa Maureen Plum- flow?Or can suggest another one syllable middle name that feels like Plum but doesn't have the flow issues with Maureen?I'd love your thoughts- thanks!!!!

I adore Louisa (Louisa Marigold, Louisa Madeleine)! Of your combos, I prefer Louisa Plum, but I understand why you want to honor. I can't say I'm wild about Louisa Maureen as I also find it serious. (That's one reason why I prefer the more whimsical Marigold paired with Louisa.) WDYT of Louisa Maura Plum? I saw Louisa Mary Plum suggested below and I like that one as well.

Louisa Plum is gorgeous! To make it honoring I'd go with Louisa Maureen Plum though, as it has the best flow.

Here are some suggestions to honor your mom and still have Louisa PlumLouisa Molly Plum
Louisa Plum Polly (too sing-songy?)
Louisa My Plum (hmmm.. My is is the database, I wonder why it isn't linking...)
Louisa Mia Plum
Louisa Plum Maite
Louisa Plum Laureen and is Ann your mom's middle name? if it is....Louisa Plum Anne
Louisa Plum Ana
Louisa Plum Anais
Louisa Plum Annette
Louisa Plum Annika
Louisa Plum OnaOR maybe these options
Louisa Plum Honor (in "honor" of your mom)
Louisa Plum Nneka means "my mother is supreme"OR maybe you could use your mother's birthstone or flower for 2nd middle like this:
Louisa Plum Jonquil
Louisa Plum Chrysanthe
Louisa Plum Rose
Louisa Plum Pearl
Louisa Plum Opal
Louisa Plum PeridotOR... maybe you could use something your mom loves like say, rivers and pick a river name for the 2ns middle like:
Louisa Plum Nile
Louisa Plum Thames
Louisa Plum Amazon (OK, maybe not Amazon, but you know what I mean!)

What about Louisa Moira Plum? A bit "edgier" than Maureen, but still closely related.I actually love Louisa Maureen Plum best. I think the flow is great and it has a boatload of personality.

I had thought of Moira and I know it's the only one my mom would actually think is honouring her because she's spoken of how she loves the name before...think that's definitely an option. And glad to hear you like Louisa Maureen Plum....I'm actually really warming to it as well- thanks so much!!!

No worries...thanks for thinking of it!!! I too am so in LOVE with straight up Louisa Plum...I think DH loves it even more than I do- he's over the moon about it...but I would feel horrible if I didn't include my mom's name.

WDYTO... Louisa Maura Plum?I really like:
Louisa Plum
Louisa Plum MaureenHow about Louisa Maura Plum? It still honours but is a little less serious/harsh and is adorable.

I think it's precious but for some reason, I'm thinking that my mom wouldn't see the honouring in it unless we used her actual name- still though...this is VERY pretty. Thanks for the great suggestion- it's definitely going on list:)

I really like Louisa Maureen Plum. It flows nicely, without losing the names in eachother.
If you want to change Plum, maybe go for a short name that means Plum?
