Not a fan. It feels very heavy & dated.

It's a really weird name - look at it! - and the cent part reminds me of centipedes. Millicentipedes!
Having said that, I think it's a fun name with a certain strength to it, and I like it. I'd be delighted to see a little one.

My first thought: The neighbor who got the mumps from kissing Bobby in an episode of The Brady Bunch. Another thought is that it's a street near me but the most important thought is that I like it. It's cute. :)

I recently met a 3-year-old Millicent Elise nn Millie, and I thought it was adorable!

I like Millicent. I tend to like names I refer to as "buttoned up," like this one. I would probably give her a nickname, Minnie or Millie, to make it less formal for everyday use.

I adore Millicent! It's cute-as-a-button and fusty at the same time, which is no unimpressive feat.

It's okay. A bit old-fashioned, but there's nothing wrong with that. However, I absolutely can't stand the NN Millie. It's so bland and cutesy to me, like Nermal, the World's Cutest Kitten.

Little old lady. Sorry. :(

Hey, now. Some of the coolest people on the planet are little old ladies. (Disclosure: I'm one of the oldest little old ladies going.) :-P

I'm one of the littlest little old ladies going...practically heading toward gnome.

Comrade! Let's put our teeth in and gnaw on some knees so they remember we exist too. That will show them dagnabbit. :-]

I like it but I don't think I would seriously use it.

I think it's middle name material. Something about Millicent is a little too antique for it to seem renewed to me. I like it - I think it's sort of a power name, actually. It's similar to Mildred in my mind, because it's an antique name that people seem to think is ugly. I don't think they are ugly, but I can certainly see why others might. Their sounds are very bright and steely, and I think they lack the puppy-energy and glamminess that are more fashionable at the moment.I'm not a "Milly / Millie" fan, though. I'd rather it were Melicent, or better, Melisend. Melicent is on my PNL because it's in the database, and I want to like some form of the name just because it's really neat. I like the Mel part better than Mil and I think the last syllable should be quiet and soft at the end, like sun(d) not sharp like ssintt.

Millicent is very sweet, although I'm more drawn to Melisande. :-)Someone on the boards (New_Chloe?) once came up with the nn Penny for Millicent. Get it, "-cent" / penny? It stuck with me because it was so clever. Of course darling Millie / Milly also works perfectly well.

I love Millicent, but definitely not a fan of Millie.

I can't like this name. It just reminds me of millipedes, which I happen to find really creepy. I'm not sure how I like the sound alone, it's maybe too sweet, similar to Felicity.

I quite like it. I think Millie is a cute nickname and Millicent is a much nicer option than Mildred.

Millions and excellence. Or millions and cents--spans both. Or thousands and thousands of cents. Close to heaven, saintly. Someone who both has her head in the clouds and excels. Not a fan of Millie or Milly, even though they're trendy.

Rose Millicent is probably my top combo for a girl. There's something about Millicent. It's old-fashioned and dainty but, at the same time, edgy and a little dark. I really like it quite a bit. ETA: I see below that you love Romilly. I love it, too, and if I had a Rose Millicent, she'd most likely be Romilly. :)

Millicent's okay, but it's kind of dated. At least you can call her Millie.
