Hugo.
Hugo popped into my head today. Wondering your thoughts?I like it personally, but I can't seem to picture it on a boy over the age of eleven. That's probably because I've never heard it on an adult though. There is also something slightly comical about Hugo, well perhaps not comical, but something not serious. Also, combos are welcome! Thanks in advance! =)

I never use to like it, but the more I hear it I actually think it's quite nice. I think it's much better than Hugh.

I've never heard it on a kid.I like it, but I always think of that asshole Hugo Chavez when I hear it.

I love Hugo :) I actually don't know any adult Hugos either, though. I think it works fine for adult, but I haven't seen it in practice yet. I do think it's more of a "fun" name than something like Edward (or Edmund, my #1 boy name), which is pretty no-nonsense.
I really liked Jasper Hugo as a combo... except I don't really like Jasper any more. Maybe Caspar Hugo instead?

That's funny, I can't imagine a little boy named Hugo. I've never met anyone with that name, though.I don't really like it, but I like the image I get from it. It makes me think of a quiet, rainy night in a city.

I have only recently started liking it, but I really do like it!

I like Hugo in theory as well, but I agree that the sound of it is kind of comical. I think because of the two syllables and ending in 'o' sounds a lot like some cartoony characters (i.e., Elmo, Pluto, Milo from Milo and Otis). It sounds much better coming from a sophistocated Eurpean with an accent I think.

I love Hugo but I don't think I'll ever use it, I also think I slightly prefer Hugh.
