Wilhelmina
I usually don't got for 4 syllable names as I find them a bit too frilly/OTT but I've had this name on my mind lately because I love most all of the possible nns (Billie, Minka, Willa and Minnie, in particular). I like Willa (nn Billie) on it own but I'm not sure which is better - which do you prefer and do you think Wilhelmina is too long? My VERY first thought for combos was Wilhelmina Pearl and Willa Frances but I could use some other suggestions.

It's not my personal favorite, but it's a lovely choice. Lots of potential nicknames. Feminine but not over-the-top. I think it's great! Wilhelmina Pearl would be my choice.

I love Wilhelmina. It's dignified and sweet at the same time and is loaded with Old World charm. My favorite nn for it is Mina, but all of the ones you've listed are great too. (I thought I was the only person who stil liked Billie for a girl.) Wilhelmina Pearl and Willa Frances are first rate, especially Wilhelmina Pearl -- that one shimmers. A few suggestions:Wilhelmina Alice / Alix
Wilhelmina Violet
Wilhelmina Wren (initials W.W. is kind of neat)
Wilhelmina Ines
Wilhelmina Jane
Wilhelmina Blythe
Wilhelmina Thais
Wilhelmina Truth
Wilhelmina Dove
Wilhelmina Pax
Wilhelmina Ishbel
Wilhelmina Lily
Wilhelmina Fleur
Wilhelmina Astrid
Wilhelmina Patience
Wilhelmina Iris

Marie WilhelminaWilla Rosemary
Willa Daphne

Thank you. Yes I was pleasantly surprised to find from my recent Billie post that no one had anything bad to say about it lest it may be too flimsy to use on its own - which sort of lead me to this postI like your suggestions of..Wilhelmina Wren
Wilhelmina Truth
Wilhelmina Dove
Willa Daphne - these two suite each other so well! They'd even make nice sisters
Willa Mavis - not normally a Mavis fan
Willa Catherine - I rather like the reference

I like Wilhelmina and I think it's much nicer than Willa. It's not too long for me, and there are plenty of good nicknames so it's not like you'd have to call her Wilhelmina all the time!
