AlexandriaBecause the nickname 'Xan' is really cute. But I like both of them, honestly.

RosalieI would have voted for Alexandra, but Alexandria just gets on my nerves.

That's a tough one. I'm not entirely sure which one I like better. Rosalie seems more refreshing to me than Alexandria does because Alex- names are so popular, but if Alexandria were Alexandra, I'd prefer it to Rosalie. Alexandria, while pretty, just seems kind of overdone. The good thing about Alexandria is that I could call her Xandria, though. I think I'd go with Alexandria "Xandria" rather than Rosalie. Alexandria sounds stronger.

Well, I know too many Rosalies, but I really do not like Alexandria. So I guess I'd go with Rosalie and call her Rose all the time.

How many Rosalies do you know? I've only met 2 in my entire life and I was in uni by then.

Rosalie is my favourite, but I think Alexandria is nice too.

Rosalie. Shorter and less geographical.

Alexandria. Sure, the nicknames people will give her will be the same old, same old... in that regard, it wouldn't have mattered if you had named the child the classic and overly common Alexandra instead. But the same probably goes for Rosalie... people would still be quick to call her Rose. But at least with Alexandria you have more options for a nickname, plus sounds much more distinguished, in my opinion. But that's just me. ;)

RosalieI like Alexandria too, but Rosalie feels fresher. I'm sick and tired of the nn possibilities of Ally and Alex, especially. I feel like they cheapen the elegance of Alexandria... so, Rosalie wins for me. It reminds me of a strong, steel-tongued vixen who's sassy and clever.

Rosalie... though Alexandria and some of its related names are also nice.

AlexandriaI like Rosalie, but really ... only on paper. In real life, it seems a little too precious and lacy for my taste. Alexandria seems to have a lot more presence and power. It'd be harder to choose between Rose and Alexandria.

Really? Alexandria seems super-princessy too me, though w/ a bit of spunk and the only 2 Rosalies I've ever met have had a bit of chutzpah to them and 1 was even on my uni's rugby team... Doesn't really leave it sounding "precious and lacy" at all to me.
