I like Clementine a lot. I use the "tine" pronunciation. It reminds me of the character in "Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind" because that was my first exposure to the word as a name, besides the folk song. I dislike Clem as a nickname, however, and would go with Cleo instead.

I think it's cute and sweet...perhaps too much so.

I like it, it used to be one of my favorites. Now, all I can think of is Clementine the Monkey, a Blabla doll.

I know a delightful Clementene whose parents chose that spelling to clarify the pronunciation. She's known as Clemmie, and is in her early 20s. I'd never given it much thought until I met her, but now I'd enjoy seeing more!

1. Oh my darling Clementine, you are lost and gone forever...2. If you pronounce it clementeen, that's those little orange-type fruits that you can only get around Xmastime.

I love Clementine. Can't use it on a daughter though because of the EM / CLEM thing (I'm an Emily). I prefer to say tine rather than teen. I think it makes a great MN.Also, I knew a girl named Clem on my basketball team when I still played. I'm pretty sure her full name was Clementine.

I like it very much, but I prefer the Italian/Spanish Clementina.

I love Clementine! She's sweet and a little bit spunky too.

I think Clementine is very nice. I prefer the "tine" ending but, depending on the combo, I also like "teen". I think she has charm.

I like Clementine. I saw it on a real child and it made it so much easier for me to accept because all I used to associate it with is the folk song. I'd say go for it. Clem makes a tough but girly girl that everyone loves I would say!

I adore Clementine, either pronunciation ("-tine" or "-teen").Clementine has a retro-chic quality that I love. Plus, the meaning is wonderful. Nn Cleo is fun, although Clemmie works as well. I love Clement for a boy and Clemence for a girl as well. I don't see a down side to any of them. :-D
