Lisa
I know it's dated, but I really like Lisa at the moment. I also like Lisa Marie as a double first name. Opinions?I can't believe it used to be the #1 name. I don't know any Lisas from the US. Just a couple of German ones. But they pronounce it LEE-za, not LEE-sa. How many Lisas do you know?I also used to really like Liza. It was my favorite name. Too Minnelli? Have you met any Lizas?Lisa or Liza?

My best friend is called Lisa. I also know a Leesa and a German Lisa who says it "LEE-za". I kind of like it, but it's hard to think objectively since it's my friend's name! I like Liza but only as a nickname; actually I prefer Eliza.

My name is Lisa. It was pretty popular when I was growing up, although it had peaked a decade before at #1.
This year subbing I've met a few Lisa's in elementary schools, so it's still around.
I would not recommend Lisa Marie, as this is the name of Elvis Presley's daughter and that's what I associate with it (it's just a really cliched combination).
I do like Liza, although I like Eliza better.

Lisa's nice and pleasant and would at least be a nice change from some of the current trends. Liza's ok too, but I prefer Lisa. Lisa Marie has been done before... Many times I'm sure... Not a fan of Marie, I have to admit, though it flows ok. Don't think I know anyone named Liza, though I once knew an Eliza.

My best friend's name is Lisa Marie but it's not a double fist name, it's her first and middle. She's college-age, and I kind of always played with the name. I figured if I ever used it, it would be Annalisa, kind of counteract the dated vibe. There were three Lisas in my kindergarten class though, my best friend being one them, and my former best friend being another one, she was Lisa Rose though. I also know a really nice girl named Lisa here at college which is another plus.
I don't know anyone named Liza but in America, I feel like people would likely say LYE-za, which I don't like that much. LEE-za is nice but I would probably use Lisa.

I don't think its ready to come back. I don't live in the U.S so maybe it is there but where I live its still boring and old like Sarah or Mary. I know 2 Lisas that are about 22

I know a couple of Lisa's, but both are over 30.
I find it a bit dated, and Lisa Marie reminds of Lisa Marie Presley - which I'm not saying as a negative, just that it's what I automatically think!I prefer Liza, or maybe Eliza would be even better with Liza as a nn.
